This is the most beautiful and unusual store in High Springs. Our mission has always been to create a sacred space where everyone who enters can experience the possibility of peace. The spirits of the rock and mineral kingdom are my allies in inspiring and protecting the energies here - I am blessed to operate the only rock shop in central Florida. We carry far too many rare and beautiful crystal companions to list here - you'll have to come and visit us. Ajoite from South Africa, rhodizite from Madagascar, shattuckite with dioptase from the Congo, scolecite from India, lotus flower mangano calcite from China, green kunzite from Afghanistan, amethyst cathedrals from Brazil, agatized coral from right here in Florida - all harminiously gridded for maximum beauty and power.
During this time of transition here on Mother Earth, we are all in need of assistance in finding our calm center from which we can manifest our power. In July of 2002, my original store burned to the ground. Everything inside was consumed or irrevocably altered. Imagine what happens to crystals when they are heated to several thousand degrees and then sprayed with torrents of water! I was put on immediate alert that I must learn mastery of fire - the sooner the better. After much soul searching and serious meditation, I decided to reopen my store here in High Springs. One thing fire can do is clear away everything that is not necessary - there is no more powerful variety of spiritual cleansing than fire - and the change fire brings is instantaneous. Procrastination is not a virtue in dealing with this energy. I changed our logo from the owl to the phoenix, found a new home for the store, reconnected with my wonderful friends, suppliers and customers and was open for business in our new home by September 1. We've been moving on up ever since. Fire is a vital elemental force with a strong affinity for generating the creative spirit, so we have been able to synchronize the stone energies in remarkable ways.
Here at the Emporium we have metaphysical supplies, sound healing instruments, incense, metaphysical jewelry, wands and blooming plants in season. Anyone in need of peace, knowledge or spiritual respite is welcome. Workshops, readings and crystal healings are available regularly - just call and ask.
